This would have seemed like a major mismatch a month ago, but the
young and cash-strapped Marlins are actually playing good baseball. They
had the lowest ERA in baseball for much of June and are staying
competitive with the rest of the National League East. The Mets are
running away with things, and show no signs of letting up. The Mets are 2-
0 at home this season against the Marlins, and 4-1 overall. Here’s an
interesting thing to watch out for with these baseball betting lines. Odds
on the Marlins are sure to be off the charts, but the Mets have actually
haven’t won a homestand since late May. With the right pitching matchups,
a wager on the Marlins might not be a bad thing. Just stay away from Tom
Glavine starts. The Mets have won 11 in a row when he starts, dating back
to early April.
