For a long time know I have heard the pundits complain that zoning would kill business and that anyone who was pro-zoning is anti-business.

So how does your neighborhood look since the last debate?

One would think in the absense of zoning thousands of new stores would have popped up. All I see is badly designed banks, gas stations, strip centers and other businesses.

I see taxpayers complaining about the death of historic Houston.

In the old Six Ward there is a fight for guidelines that would preserve the character of the neighborhood.

It is a sad thing in that the Old Six Ward has survived all that Houston's weather has thrown at it for the past 100 years, yet its demise could come at the blade of a bulldozer.
