The question that constantly haunts me is, why in Midtown after being a resident for five years are we still batteling the homeless? The matter is getting worse! Example, tonight my husband and I wanted to get a sandwich at our first Subway on Holman street, and as usual there is the same old pan handelers and homeless begging for money. I am so tired of this. We turned around and had to drive over to Southmore Subway, which isn't any better!! I want to know where our mayor is that I voted for? I feel he is ignoring this problem along with the police department. Mayor White, your campaigning and promises got you in office, but it is the results that get you relected!!!!! I feel that you have to step on some toes on the matter of the homeless, like all these "help the homless groups" which don't really care except for receiving their goverment money! Just ask the people of the Day's Inn. Talk about a bunch of people exploiting the homeless veterans for their own gain!
